Multibody dynamics is an exciting area of mechanics, which merges various disciplines such as structural dynamics, multiphysics modeling, computational mathematics, control theory, and computer science in order to deliver methods and tools for the virtual prototyping of complex mechanical systems. Multibody dynamics plays a central role in the modeling, analysis, simulation, and optimization of mechanical systems in a variety of fields and for a wide range of applications. The ECCOMAS Thematic Conference on Multibody Dynamics was initiated in 2003 to address these needs. Since then, the conference has been held every two years at rotating locations.

1st week
2nd week

The 2027 edition of the ECCOMAS conference on Multibody Dynamics will have a companion event: a summer school for PhD students and young researchers.
The partecipation to both events is optional. People interested in the conference do not need to enroll the summer school, and viceversa students interested in the summer school do not need to register also to the conference. However, we estimate that some young researchers might interested in both events, so we managed to organize them in the same period, one week after the other.
(More information later. Registration is not yet open.)
